Your confidentiality and the security of your credit card information is insured by the use of Secure Sockets Layer or SSL technology. SSL is the Internet standard for the transmission of sensitive information on the web. It utilizes the highest level of encryption (encoding) available to the public and is much more secure than many of the other methods that people routinely use for credit card payment - including telephone or instore purchase.
SSL is based on 128 bit encryption. To give you an idea of how secure that is imagine a briefcase lock with three ten-digit cylinders. That lock provides about 1,000 possible combinations. 128 bit encryption is like having a lock with 32 sixteen-digit cyclinders which, if you do the math, comes out to something in the neighborhood of 320,000,000,000,000,000 possible combinations. The security of our servers is tested and attested to by GeoTrust. To view our security certificate, click on the security icon from any of the secure areas of our site. You can verify that you are in a secure area by looking at the key (Netscape 3.*) or padlock (Netscape 4.*) icon in the bottom left corner of your browser window. On a secure page, the key will be in one piece, the padlock will be closed. In Internet Explorer the padlock appears only when you are on a secure page.

- Returns of standard-cut items may be accepted at OnlineMetals.com's option, subject to a 30% restocking charge. OnlineMetals is not responsible for shipping charges in either direction if the reason for return is not related to quality or workmanship.
- A buyer may not cancel any order that has been specially cut to size. OnlineMetals.com will always try to work with their customer in these situations, but reserves the right to not cancel the order.
- We do not accept C.O.D. orders
- All shipments outside the United States are quoted FOB Seattle WA. All online prices do not include shipment outside the United States.
- All online pricing is for smaller quantities. Larger inquiries are asked to call 800-704-2157 for quotation and delivery pricing.
- Credit terms are net 30 with approved credit by OnlineMetals.Com. All Purchase orders given at our online store ( Online Metals.Com ), must be accompanied by faxed credit references to 206-285-7836.
- All Washington State customers are subject to 8.9% sales tax.
- None of our employees have any authority to bind us to any affirmation, representation or warranty. Any technical advice we give with respect to the use of material is provided without charge, and will assume no obligation or liability for advice given and all such advice is accepted at the customers risk.
Cutting
As a service to our customers we allow for each order to have two free cuts. However , because of the time associated with making additional cuts to the product, we attach a nominal fee of $1.50 for each additional cut made to the item.
Example: If you order 3 pieces of 1'' stainless steel round bar you will receive an additional charge of $1.50.
