Polypropylene Round Rod
Extruded Polypropylene is a cost-effective material with outstanding physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Compared to similar materials such as high density polyethylene, it has a lower impact strength, but superior working temperature and tensile strength.
Extruded Polypropylene is light in weight, resistant to staining, has a low moisture absorption rate and offers excellent resistance to acids and alkalines (Should not be used in direct regular contact with aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents.) It can be welded to itself using fusion and butt welding equipment, and is easily machined with standard metal and wood working tools. The natural color is a milky white.
