Cold Roll Round Bar 1144, also called "Stress Relieved" or "Stressproof®", has excellent strength, hardness, and it is easily machined. 1144 is also designed to resist warping during heat treatment. It is typically used in nuts, bolts, arbors, gears, pinions, piston rods, sleeves, shafts, and screws.
