Stainless Steel Sheet/Plate 316 Annealed No. 8 is a flat, rolled product made from the austenitic 316 stainless steel alloy containing chromium, nickel, and molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance. It has been annealed (heat treated) to increase ductility and workability. With good formability and corrosion resistance, it is commonly used in chemical processing equipment, food and beverage production, marine applications, and architectural trim where a dull matte finish is desired.
