302/304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet has a higher carbon content than the standard 304 alloy which lends itself better for spring applications. This product will have a high enough carbon content to meet what is required for 302 certification, but still has a low enough carbon content to meet the specification for 304/304L, which makes this product triple certified. This allows for a great blend of high carbon properties while also providing more corrosion resistance than the other high carbon stainless alloy, 301. The material itself will be labeled 304 from the mill, but the mill test report (MTR) will have the triple certification for 302, 304, and 304L.
