PM154 is a knife steel manufactured using the particle metallurgy (PM) method which provides uniform distribution of the carbides. PM steels have outstanding grinding and polishing properties plus improved toughness over conventional knife steel, while retaining similar heat treat response and wear properties. PM154 has a 1.05% carbon, 4.00% Molybdenum and 14.00% chromium. Hardness between 51-61 HRC depending on heat treat.
