302 Stainless Balls, Grade 100

302 Stainless Balls, Grade 100

Stainless Steel Balls 302 Grade 100 are principally used in couplings, valves, and pumps. Stainless 302, also referred to as 18-8 stainless steel, is extremely tough, corrosion resistant, and ductile with high ease of fabrication and formability. Type 302 stainless steel is the least expensive of any 300 series materials – making these precision ball bearings a versatile cost-effective option.

Properties: Good corrosion resistance, high electrical resistance, fair resistance to thermal conductivity, non-hardenable by heat treatment, solution treatment annealing, cold workable, durable, good weldability, excellent formability, easily fabricated, good machinability, extremely low magnetic properties.

Common Uses: Precision ball bearings, dispenser and aerosol valves, lotions pumps, locking mechanisms, agitators, animal feeders, trigger sprayers, finger pump mechanisms, food processing and medical applications, breweries.
