The 1/2" UHMW round rod is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plastic, offering excellent durability, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance. It is self-lubricating with a very low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for high wear applications.
This UHMW round rod is not available for custom cutting at the warehouse, so it is sold in its maximum length of up to 120 inches without custom size options.
This rod is commonly used in chain guides, wear rails, chute liners, truck liners, hopper liners, and other applications where high abrasion and impact resistance are required.
The rod weighs approximately 0.08 pounds per unit.
