Alloy Steel Round Bar 8620 is normally used for heavy duty machinery parts, and hand tools. 8620 steel offers good strength, high case toughness, and good core strength and toughness. 8620 is the mostly widely used carburized steel, and the addition of nickel gives it good fatigue resistance and torsional strength. 8620 round bar/rod stock is available in full size and custom cut lengths.
We carry 8620 round bar in the Cold Finished and Hot Rolled condition.
