- Description
Steel rebar, or reinforcing bar, is an essential construction material used to strengthen and support concrete structures by providing tensile resistance that concrete alone cannot withstand. Commonly used in foundations, slabs, walls, and columns, rebar ensures durability and crack resistance in everything from residential projects to large-scale infrastructure. Rebar is sized by a numbering system based on its nominal diameter in eighths of an inch—for example, a #5 bar has a diameter of 5/8". It is typically manufactured with surface deformations (ribs) to enhance its bond with concrete. Our inventory includes a wide range of sizes, grades, and finishes to meet the demands of any project, with custom cutting and fabrication services available.
