Overview
A commonly used high carbon steel with a wide range of applications due to the typical benefits of steel. 1075 steel exhibits high yield strength and is softer as well as more bendable than 1095, but has less spring. Due to the heat treatment of 1075 spring steel, it cannot be welded. Typically used in antennas, clock hands, lock pics, s-tines, spring clamps, and vehicle coil springs.
