Stainless 316 Product Guide
Applications | Stainless 316 Specifications | Mechanical and Chemical DataOverview
316/316L stainless steel is one of the more popular stainless alloys. It exhibits higher strength than 316 and most importantly, excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. Additionally, the mechanical properties of 316 remain constant even down to cryogenic temperatures. It is typically used in oil and petroleum equipment, aerospace, food processing, pulp and paper processing equipment, textiles, architectural, and marine equipment.
