Nickel Alloy 718 Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical and Chemical Data | Tolerances
Overview
A high strength and high fatigue resistance alloy, Nickel Alloy 718 is designed for extended usage at extreme temperatures. Ductility and toughness remain high, though it cannot be cold worked. The service temperatures of Nickel 718 run from cryogenic to 1200 F (649 C). Typically used in gas turbines, liquid fuel rocket motors, springs, fasteners, and cryogenic tanks.
