Bronze 954 Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical and Chemical Data
Overview
This alloy has strong properties of strength and corrosion resistance due to its high aluminum and iron content. 954 bronze is one of the most popular general-purpose aluminum-bronzes. In particular, this alloy excels at metal to metal wear resistance and deformation resistance. Welding, brazing, and all forms of welding other than oxyacetylene are rated as good. It is typically used to make bearings, valves, pumps, various gears and fastening hardware a machine parts.
