Our thin plywood is supplied by Koskisen, the premier supplier of thin stock. Koskisen is a Finnish plywood manufacturer with extremely high quality standards. Our bendy plywood product is KoskiFlex AB/B grade plywood with no joints. (This grade is virtually flawless and makes fantastic lamp shades and other decorative objects.)
The advantages of its bendability are best displayed in plywood panels with a thickness of less than 2.0 mm with the grain running on the short side for maximum flex. Use 2.5 mm where minimal flex is needed.
The 1.5mm bendy flexible plywood can be bent to a quite tight radius (about 2 in). All Koskisen thin stock is made from strong and high-quality birch logs which are procured from certified and sustainable managed forests in Finland. Our thin plywoods are joint-free, uniform, consistent and stable materials.
They are flexible, light and easy to machine and are suitable for laser cutting or waterjet cutting.
