2" x 48" ALUMINUM OXIDE SANDING BELT
Benchmark Abrasives 2" x 48” Aluminum Oxide Sanding Belts are MADE IN USA. Each belt is made with a durable polycotton blend backing for durability. We suggest only dry sanding applications with the A/O belts (Zirconia & Ceramic belts can be used wet/dry).
Our belts are made with the premium aluminum oxide grains adhered to cloth that meets strict European standards. A-Ox is the original metalworking abrasive, but not the strongest (see ceramic/zirconia). These belts are designed for use on Al-composites, steel, wood, plastics, and other metals. It is suitable for use with both narrow and wide belts. This sanding belt features heavyweight cloth backing, which provides durability for high-production environments.
Safety Tips & Techniques:
- Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.
- Keep all guards in place on your machine.
- Not every sanding belt machine will work with every size belt. Make sure to read the machine operating manual to ensure you are purchasing the correct belt for your machine.
