4-1/2" x 5/8"-11 T27 Curved Zirconia Flap Discs for Fillet Welds are manufactured using European zirconia cloth. The European material is superior due to its uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients. These discs exceed other flap discs by packing 25 to 50% more abrasives on each snippet (compared to the competition). In addition, all discs are manufactured on computer-controlled machines and subject to numerous tests which ensure high quality and greater safety. The 5/8”-11 hub allows for easy spin-on spin-off action.
Our new curved flap discs were created specifically for finishing fillet welds and other hard-to-reach places. You can hit weld seams and slag with both the side and bottom of the flap discs. The zirconia grain is intended for use on steel and stainless.
Zirconia grains have a self-sharpening property and stand up to higher heat and pressure than Aluminum Oxide (A/O), thus making Zirconia the go-to option, providing excellent stock
