Copper 101 sheet and plate (oxygen free high conductivity copper, OFHC) is a commercially pure copper alloy with a minimum of 99.99% copper and no oxygen content, delivering exceptional electrical and thermal conductivity. Its oxygen free composition provides resistance to hydrogen embrittlement at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for high performance electrical and scientific applications. Compared to standard copper grades, 101 offers higher purity and more stable performance in demanding environments. It is easily formed, machined, soldered, brazed, and welded, making it suitable for both fabrication and precision use.
Applications: Electrical conductors, bus bars, grounding systems, particle accelerators, high purity components, automotive electrical systems.
