Alloy Steel Sheet/Plate 4140
Alloy steel 4140 sheet/plate is a high-strength, low alloy steel containing chromium, molybdenum, and manganese. It offers excellent strength, fatigue resistance, toughness, and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications like gears, shafts, fixtures, and components in industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil/gas, agriculture, and defense. The sheet/plate form allows for fabrication into various shapes and parts, while heat treatments like quenching and tempering enable tailoring its hardness and strength over an extensive range.
