Brass 260/272 angle is a general purpose alloy made from approximately 70% copper and 30% zinc, commonly referred to as cartridge brass (260) or yellow brass (272). It offers a strong balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and formability, making it suitable for both structural reinforcement and decorative applications. With a smooth mill finish and typically supplied in half hard temper, this material performs well in fabrication, machining, and forming processes. Its clean appearance also makes it a popular choice for visible architectural applications.
