Copper Rectangle Bar 182

Copper 182 rectangle bar (chromium copper) is a high conductivity copper alloy designed to deliver a balance of electrical performance, mechanical strength, and durability. Alloyed with small amounts of chromium, C182 offers improved strength and resistance to softening under heat compared to pure copper, while maintaining excellent conductivity and thermal performance. It is well suited for fabrication processes such as cold working and forming, and provides reliable weldability and machinability when handled under appropriate conditions. Due to its ability to maintain performance under electrical load and thermal cycling, 182 copper is widely used for heavy duty electrical and industrial applications. This material is typically sourced as a special order to meet precise project
requirements.

Applications: Electrical connectors, bus bars, welding electrodes, power components, industrial contacts, heat transfer parts.
