182 Copper Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical and Chemical Data | Tolerances
Overview
Also known as chromium copper, c182 copper is offers excellent conductivity, weldability, and workability. This material excels with cold working, and it can be hot worked but it should be annealed again afterward and rapidly quenched. C182 should only be brazed or joined in a softened condition, as its physical properties degrade if it is hardened then brazed or welded. This alloy is typically used in electrical applications.
