SWAG Pipe Dimple Dies are designed specifically for nominal pipe sizes, which are measured by inside diameter—resulting in unique outside diameters: 1.115" for 3/4" pipe, 1.362" for 1" pipe, 1.6875" for 1.25", 1.9375" for 1.5", and 2.375" for 2" pipe. Made in the USA from 4140 quenched and tempered chromoly steel (150,000 KSI tensile strength), these dies can dimple up to 3/16" steel. Each die includes a through-hole and can be used in an H-frame hydraulic press, bolted together with Grade 8 hardware, or pressed using a 10 Ton Hydraulic Knockout Punch Driver. They’re also compatible with Harbor Freight’s knockout punch kit (#96718) for fast and efficient hole prep in thin material (11 ga mild, 16 ga stainless). With OD ranges from 2.40" to 4.20", they’re perfect for structural reinforcement or cosmetic applications in pipe-based projects.
