The 410 stainless steel plate offers good corrosion resistance, especially in mild environments, thanks to its high chromium content. However, it's not as corrosion-resistant as the austenitic grades like 304 or 316.
This 1.5-inch thick 410 stainless plate is a high-strength martensitic stainless steel, making it suitable for applications requiring both durability and moderate corrosion resistance, such as parts for machine components and tools.
410 stainless steel offers good machinability and can be welded, but post-weld heat treatment is recommended to maximize mechanical properties and restore corrosion resistance.
This product is not available for custom cut lengths and is sold in fixed, pre-cut sizes.
