This rectangle bar measures 5/32" in thickness and 1.5" in width, made from 154 CM stainless steel alloy with a mill finish. It features a typical chemistry including 1.05% carbon, 14% chromium, and 4% molybdenum, providing excellent edge retention and hardness around 58/59 HRC.
Yes, the 154 CM stainless steel alloy is excellent blade stock with similar chemistry to ATS-34, known for holding a super edge and high hardness, making it ideal for knife making and other cutting tool applications.
This product is available in two standard lengths: 18 inches and 36 inches. Custom cutting options are not specified, so orders are fulfilled in these preset lengths.
The 18-inch bar weighs approximately 1.223 lbs, and the 36-inch bar weighs about 2.446 lbs. Both sizes are currently in stock and available for purchase.
