Description
Technical Info

Brass 464 sheet and plate (naval brass) is a high performance copper zinc tin alloy engineered for exceptional corrosion resistance in marine and harsh environments. Designed to resist saltwater exposure and dezincification, C46400 maintains strength, durability, and long service life under demanding conditions. It offers good mechanical strength, wear resistance, and hardness, making it suitable for both structural and industrial applications.
This alloy performs well in hot working processes and can be readily soldered and brazed, though welding capabilities are limited. Its combination of corrosion resistance and durability makes it a preferred choice for marine hardware and components exposed to moisture and coastal environments.

Applications: Marine panels, condenser plates, bushings, fasteners, valves, wear plates, shipbuilding components, coastal and industrial hardware.
