Made of 75% tungsten for wear and arc-erosion resistance and 25% copper for electrical and thermal conductivity, these bars work well for electrodes in the electrical-discharge machining of tungsten carbide and other dense material. They're RWMA Class 11, so use them for facings and insets for flash and butt welding dies, projection welding electrodes, and seam welding. Compared to RWMA Class 10, they're more wear resistant because they contain more tungsten. They're commonly known as Elkonite bars.

This rectangle bar measures 0.25 inches in thickness and 0.5 inches in width, made of an alloy containing 75% tungsten and 25% copper. It combines wear and arc-erosion resistance with excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.

Yes, this bar is ideal for electrodes in electrical-discharge machining, especially for tungsten carbide and other dense materials, due to its high tungsten content and RWMA Class 11 rating.

Yes, custom cuts are available from the warehouse. Standard lengths offered are 8 inches and 12 inches, with shipping typically within 1 business day.

Yes, a material test report (MTR) is available for this product to verify its composition and quality.

The 10W3 alloy is more wear resistant than RWMA Class 10 because it contains a higher percentage of tungsten, making it better suited for applications involving flash and butt welding dies and projection welding electrodes.
