Stainless Round Bar 321 provides high strength, high temperature capability, and resistance to intergranular corrosion. 321 resists scaling at higher temperatures. Also, the addition of titanium means that welding is not suggested for this alloy. It is typically used in aerospace and defense for engine parts, heat exchangers, missile components, exhaust stacks, rocket engines, manifolds, and more.

Chemistry Information : 321 Stainless Steel
This 1.5" diameter stainless steel round bar is alloy 321 in an annealed temper, offering high strength, excellent high-temperature resistance, and resistance to intergranular corrosion. It is commonly used in aerospace and defense for engine parts, heat exchangers, missile components, exhaust stacks, rocket engines, and manifolds.
Yes, this round bar is available for custom cutting at the warehouse, with maximum lengths up to 144 inches. Various standard cut lengths are offered, and custom cut options are supported to meet your project needs.
Yes, this product complies with RoHS and REACH regulations and meets ASTM and AMS specifications such as ASTM A276 and AMS 5645. Material Test Reports (MTR) are also available for quality assurance.
The machinability rating for this 321 stainless steel round bar is moderate at 36. Welding 321 without the approppriate procedures can cause problems. Stainless 321 is stabilized with titanium, however, the titanium oxidizes and burns off during welding. This causes sensitization around the weld.
The round bar is shipped in various lengths with weights proportional to length, for example, a 12-inch piece weighs approximately 6.05 pounds. All listed lengths are in stock and available for immediate shipment from the warehouse.
