270 Brass Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical and Chemical Data | Tolerances
Overview
With a mixture of good strength, formability, and corrosion resistance, this alloy is mostly used in tubing. 270 brass hot forms easily and is stronger than 260 brass while still maintaining fair electrical conductivity. Typically used as fasteners, heat exchangers, pump cylinders, and tubing for other industrial projects.
